Radioinactive’s latest full-length, The Akashic Record, is a breast of fresh analog air amidst the digital musical biosphere of today.

The album was recorded and mixed by Kamal de Iruretagoyena Humphrey aka Radioinactive by using the Gooey Analog tape and all the glorious vintage tube gear of yesteryear.
The music is a hip hop caravan; with an ethnic vibe and a gypsy theme, inspired by his travels across the globe, including a jaunt to the island of Sri Lanka and 3 months traveling through the Sahara with a band of Tuaregs, Radioinactive spans the gammit from tzigane BBQ raps to rapid fire trigger tongue acrobatics, to an early 60s surf inspired diss song.

The Akashic Record's sound is a simmered stew of musicians and samples from mysterious records, with drums to make your neck snap, garnished with live cuts and ambience beds from foreign lands, which gives Radio the proper canvas to reinvent himself vocally over each piece as if he was same person encountering himself on different dimensions with a reel to reel tape recorder.

The album is produced and mixed by Radioinactive, with the exception of Mint Tea produced by French extraordinaire rap combo LA CAUTION (featured in the movie Ocean's Eleven).
It features appearances by Los Angeles underground MC hall of famers 2MEX, BUSDRIVER, and ELLAY KHULE, as well as artist and producer SUNNY LEVINE (Ariel Pink, Happy Mondays, Scarlet Johansson/Pete Yorn). Long-time friend/collaborator BURT GREGORY AKA LAWRENCE GARCEAUX (The West Coast Scavengers) lends some further production as does ANDRE AFRAM ASMAR (Mush records) who provides some tasteful glitches and self re-edits.
